Camping out

Now that Sarah is on the way Jimmy won't be able to sleep in the pack-n-play when we travel.
Jimmy received his  Car's sleeping bag from Aunt Boo and Uncle Poo for Christmas, and I found a cool toddler air mattress online for him. The air mattress has inflatable higher sides, so that he can not roll out.  He absolutely loves is "car bed"! Hopefully he will sleep ok in it when we go to Birmingham in March.

Have you seen my baseball???

Jimmy insisted on wearing his daddy's earmuffs while he ate lunch today. I told you guys he is crazy!

Pump it up

Yesterday, we were suppose to go to the park with friends, but of course it was raining.  Everyone wanted to go to Pump it up, but there was no way I could climb in and out of the moonwalks with Jimmy. So Lacy was to the rescue!!! Jimmy had a blast running around and jumping with her! Thank you Lacy!!!

Must be doing something right

Grandma and Aunt Lauren gave Jimmy some ice cream with blue berries today, he wanted no part of it. At dinner he asked for seconds of lima beans and broccoli!!!! I must be doing something right!

Epic Battle

Jimmy and Allan enjoy sword fighting now. I just sit and roll my eyes!

Super Hero Jimmy!

Jimmy is no longer a baby, he is a full blown little boy! Today out of nowhere he wanted to put on his cape, mask, and hat,  so he could fly around the house. I have no idea where he got the idea, because he does not watch anything that has super heros on it. My baby is growing up so fast.

What a night!

One day Jimmy will hate me for this blog post.

After dinner Jimmy did not want to wear pants, instead he wanted to wear his coat and boots. So I let him, because I choose my battles. A minute later he came to me with a basket of toys and was telling me "bye, bye". He was leaving, guess it's never to early to run away from home, especially with a sister on the way.

Then came bath time.... I stripped him down naked and he insisted on putting his boots back on! Right when I went to take a picture, typical guy, he starts to scratch his butt! These two pictures have made me laugh all night!

Cute Videos

I have been slacking on blogging lately, sorry. Yesterday we took Jimmy to the park, the weather was perfect. He loves to run and run around and climb up everything.

Friday afternoon I took Jimmy to another park and let him burn some energy off!

Jimmy's Baby

I have been told by many moms to introduce a baby doll to Jimmy a couple of weeks before Sarah comes. I picked up a cheap one at Toys R Us today and showed it to him when he got home from school. He immediately wanted to hold it, kiss it, and point out it's toes and nose.  I had him put it in Sarah's crib for nap time, of course he ended up throwing it like a football into the bed. After his nap he wanted to go get the baby and watch Barney with it. I laughed so hard when he was holding it, then sat it up so it could see the tv! LOL I think he is going to be a great big brother.

Sarah's Nursery

So I feel like I have finally finished Sarah's nursery, with lots of help from Becca, Michael and Lacy. Michael painted the room, Lacy painted the flowers and gave me her dresser, and Becca helped me decide on the finishing touches and my shadow boxes. In one shadow box is my baptismal gown that my Grandma Sarah Simcox made me, and in the other one is my blanket that I was attached to as a child. I also hung the painting that Jimmy made Sarah above the changing table.

He is a dork!

Baby Shower

Saturday my friend Hubbell, my mother in law,  and sister in laws hosted a wonderful baby shower for me. I had so much fun opening all the little pink outfits and goodies that go along with a little girl. I was also showered with lots of diapers, that I so look forward to changing! We played lots of games and really had a great time. Thank you to everyone that came, and to my hostesses.

I have more pictures coming!

Painting for Sister

Tonight Jimmy painted a canvas to hang in baby sister's room. He used the paint that Lacy used to paint flowers on the wall, so that it would match everything. When he was done he signed it with two hand prints right in the middle.

Update on Baby Sarah!!

Last Friday I went for an ultrasound, I am 35 weeks today. Sarah is measuring 6lb 6oz, her head is in the 50%, but her belly is in the 95%!!!!! She is a chubby little girl!! She also already has hair. Everything looks wonderful and we are hoping that she will hold out until her c-section on February 12th. Dr. Percy seems to think that she will be over 8lbs, so we shall see. Only 31 days to go!

In the pictures you can see her face on the right hand side, and her arms in front of her.

Not Quite Ready for Soccer!

Yesterday Jimmy tried out the local two and three year old soccer class. It is a parent's involved class where they basically have them do little skills with the ball, run around cones, and play games. Poor Allan had to be the one to run around with him. Needless to say Jimmy did the opposite of whatever they asked him to. He was the youngest one in the class, and I think we are going to wait until this summer to try again. During "red light/ green light" Jimmy decided he would tell everyone when to go, and he would run on red.  If you watch the video about half way though he tells everyone "ready go!"

"O's" and Milk

For about two and a half weeks now all Jimmy has wanted in life is "O's" and milk (cheerios and milk). All hours of the day he asks for them, he will even wake up in the middle of the night asking for them (of course I just lay him back down to sleep). I am guessing he is going through a growth spirt because he will eat a huge meal and then want a bowl of o's and milk. Tonight he ate a whole gyro, green beans, corn, and then a bowl of o's and milk.

More Pics from Photo shoot!

We got all of our proofs back from the photographer the other day! We are so happy with them. Let me know which ones you like the best.

Feeding the Ducks

Saturday Allan took Jimmy for a bike ride to the duck pond to feed the ducks. Jimmy loved chasing them around, but was a little confused on feeding them!

Cookie Monster

Every time we go to Publix  I let Jimmy get one of their free kids cookies. I see nothing wrong with one cookie a week, if it buys me some quite shopping time. They will punch a kids card each time he gets a cookie, when he gets ten punches his name goes into a drawing for a free cookie cake.  We finally filled up his card and put it in the drawing on Monday.  Surprise... on Wednesday they called and said he won! You have to love Publix for giving us free cookies, then letting us win a free cookie cake!!! LOL I must say it is one good cookie.
