Jimmy's Big Boy Bed

Jimmy has had a twin size bed in his room for a while now. He has played around in it, and we read book laying in it. Today at nap time he wanted to sleep in it, so I let him (thinking he would never fall asleep). To my surprise he was out in a matter of minutes. He slept for about an hour and then wanted in his crib. When we get back from Thanksgiving we are going to try to move him over for good.

Our House in Helena

We were so excited that we had a contract on our house in Helena. We knew the offer was to good to be true. They told us they were pre-approved and we found out they could not get financing. So we are back at square one. Please say some prayers that our house sells soon. It has been on the market since we moved back in April.

Allan's true colors

Allan commented on a friend of his blog about his true colors and being yourself. This is how Allan explains himself:

I grew up cleaning cars at my family's car washes.
I have scars from being a former college offensive lineman.
I have a passion for design and brainstorm about ideas.
I leave the toilet seat down.
I am in love with my wife.
I enjoy seeing anything inspiring.
I love my family more than myself and enjoy nothing more than being around them.
I have the greatest job in the world and the most amazing business partner.
I want to help everyone I meet.
I enjoy my life, it's so close to perfect.
I know I'm blessed for everything I have and I take nothing for granted.
I eat too much.
I make too many jokes.
I have a OCD about washing my hands all day.
I am scared of sharks.
I pick my nose and flick the boogers.
I keep dental floss at my desk.
I laugh at my jokes more than others.
I want everyone to be as happy as I am.

That's me, take it or leave it.

Interesting Morning!

This morning Chase came over to play at 7:30!!! (Hubbell had an appointment to go to) The boys were so good, I could not have asked for them to be better. The crazy part was Steve, Allan's business parter is in town working at the house, the door bell rings at 9:00 and it is a guy that does voice over work for Allan and needed complete silence to work. So I took the boys upstairs, they watched Sesame Street while I got ready. Next thing I know Allan calls my phone to tell me the carpet cleaning guys were here early, I told Allan to take care of them. So here I am with two toddlers, two Less Everything employees, two carpet guys, and one voice over guy and trying to get out of the house!!!! I locked the boys upstairs with the gate and shut all of the doors except Jimmy's room. I could hear the boys running back and forth upstairs while I packed up everything. I paid the carpet guys, put both boys in the car and loaded up. Thank the LORD the boys were both so behaved. How am I going to do this with two kids everyday?!?!?!?!?!?!? :)

*****The following picture will be put in Jimmy's senior yearbook!!!*****
While I was getting ready today I looked over, Jimmy was pretending to dry his hair like I do, while wearing one of my high heals!!!! LOL!!!! The best part is look at Chase's face, it looks like "Jimmy your daddy would not be happy!"

Tonight I was reading Jimmy's big brother book to him, when I turned and asked "What is your little sister's name?"

His response: "Baboon!"

I asked him again and I got the same response! Great he is going to all Sarah, "Baboon!" I sure hope she is cuter that this baby baboon!

Drummer Boy

This morning Chase came over to play for a little bit. He and Jimmy broke into the music instruments and had a blast making as much noise as they could. Jimmy would not stop drumming, over and over and over again!

Both of the boys played with Jimmy's train for a while.

Another classy picture of Jimmy in his boots, he is just worn out from playing all morning.

I'm Just a Swing'in

Today when I picked Jimmy up from school his class was out on the playground. I got a kick out of all the kids swinging at once. Ms. Marcia said that Jimmy did really well today and only had a tear or two. They played with shaving cream and he now smells like a 90 year old man :)

Fun Day

This morning Allan watched Jimmy while I went to water aerobics, while I was gone Jimmy took off his diaper and peed in the playroom! Thank you Jimmy.

I took Jimmy to play on a little play ground this morning when I got home. Jimmy climbed up a little rock wall with my help for the first time. He also learned to hang on and dangle. He was not real thrilled when I took this picture because he just wanted down! He did not realize that he was two inches from the ground.

Tonight Lauren came over to watch Grey's Anatomy with us. Jimmy was so excited to see Lauren, he kept giving her hug after hug. She was sweet enough to stop by Sonic and bring us each a treat! Jimmy made sure he got every other bite of Lauren's ice cream sunday.

Crazy Monster Boots

A while back you may remember Allan bought Jimmy some really cute monster boots. Jimmy is obsessed with them now. He does not care what he has on or which foot they go on, he has them on all the time.

Playing at the park

Today, we met up with Bucky and Chase at the park. Ethan came late, so we don't have any pictures of him. The boys had a great time playing and getting really dirty. It is really nice that I can sit down and watch Jimmy play now, he even goes down the slides all by himself.

Working with Daddy

Jimmy worked with daddy today while on a video chat with 25 other people! He had a lot of input to put in the conversation, well it mostly consisted of "dadda, dadda."

Aunt Boo's silly faces!

Jimmy loves to video chat with Aunt Boo. A couple of weeks ago she started making funny faces at him, now he makes them right back at her! He will pull on his ears and stick out his tongue! He gets so proud of himself!!! He loves his Aunt Boo!

Veteran's Day Parade

Jimmy and I went downtown today for the Veteran's Day Parade. I was pleasantly surprised that the parade was as big as it was, it lasted an hour and a half. Jimmy loved the fire trucks, bands, and motorcycles.

Boys will be boys

Tonight, Allan and Jimmy were working on Jimmy's baseball skills. All of a sudden it turned into WWF wrestling the end they were both pooped!

My Little Greek Eating Baby!

I LOVE greek food, yesterday I made Gyro's and to my surprise Jimmy ate a whole one!

First day of school

Jimmy finally got into mother's day out, we have been on the waiting list since April. He is only going on Fridays from 8:30-11.45 right now, but we hope for at least one more day when one opens up. Wednesday I went with him and we sat in and played with the class for a little bit, he really enjoyed himself. So today was the big day, I got him already this morning and we talked about going to play at school. Of course he cried really bad when I dropped him off, I went up front to pay and came back to check on him. He was still crying, but the assistant teacher said he had stopped but another child's mom had dropped them off and he remembered his mommy. So I sucked it up and left (crying my eyes out). I was really surprised I did not get a call all morning. When I picked him up they said he did great, he cried a couple if times no longer than a minute or two. They said he really enjoyed playing outside, painting and music class. I hope he continues to do well, and this helps his separation anxiety. As for me, I stopped crying and was able to clean the whole house, and take a long shower!

Busy Day

This morning Jimmy went to play at Hubbell and Chase's house while I went for my gestational diabetes test. Jimmy always has fun playing over there and loves the two of them. We all drove over to Lyla's house to celebrate her 2nd birthday, Jimmy was a walking zombie during the party. He was so tired from getting up early and already playing with Chase. We came home and he took a three hour nap!  After his nap we drove out to the ball park to watch Uncle Mike play softball. Jimmy only lasted about 5 minutes, because he just wanted to run out on the field and get the balls and bats. I could not get him to sit still, and my back was hurting to bad to hold him. We ended up at Allan's parents house for a little bit so that he could burn off some energy.

Do What?

Tonight Jimmy climbed up on the ottoman and wanted to sit back on Allan's hand. The strange thing was he just wanted to keep sitting there, just as happy as could be. FREAK!

New Kids on the Block!!!

This past weekend I drove to Tampa with my friend Jamie and her friend Sheena to go see NKOTB! Growing up I was a huge fan, I had tee-shirts, buttons, jean jackets, posters and even the bed sheets! I was never able to see them in concert when I was younger, so when I found out Jamie was going I could not pass it up. I can not tell you the trill it was to see them live! We had great seats on the floor row 33, but the best part was there was a small stage directly next to our seats that they came from underground and sang three songs. We were close enough that Sheena got to touch Joey! We danced the whole concert along with all the 22-35 year old women that were there. I was also surprised with all the pregnant women! I don't know when the last time I had that much fun!
