Our Little Veterinarian

Jimmy really enjoys chasing the dogs around and beating them up. He calls Elvis "Ei Ei", Dirk and Murphy are just "dog." The other night Murphy flopped on Jimmy's lap. I think this is what took place:

Murphy: "Dr. Jimmy I don't feel good, could you help me?"

Dr. Jimmy: " Murphy let me take a look"

Dr. Jimmy : "Murphy after a thorough examination, I have diagnosed you as freeze your buns off outside. I have written you a prescription for a warm night of sleep inside. I'll give it to mom and dad for you."
Murphy: "Thank you Jimmy!"

Let it Snow

This morning we woke up greatly disappointed to no snow. With in a hour it started, and it came down fast. We waited a little bit to go outside so that we would have enough to play in. I bundled Jimmy up in a bunch of warm clothes and headed outside. Allan was in a jacket, but of course work out shorts! (when will the boy from Florida ever learn?) Jimmy hated the snow as soon as we set him in it. The only way we could get him to smile was to throw snow at him. The snow melted so fast and now we just await icy roads tonight. Hello Again!

I am so sorry it has been so long since I have posted, I don't have a reason why. I just did not feel like posting, I have been to tired from chasing Jimmy around! :) Wow, Jimmy will be 13 months old in two days. He is into everything, and does not listen to the word "no". He is cruising around everything to find something to get into. He will hold onto one thing and go to the next, but is not walking around on his own yet. I know I don't need to rush it, but my back is broken!!! Carrying around 27lbs has taken a tole on my back, I am now swimming to help it out. Jimmy is now telling us what some animals say like a cat and chicken. He likes to tell us "Ya" when we say "No", or give us a dirty look and try to do whatever he was doing that is bad. He gives Allan and I kisses now and told Allan "hey dada" on the phone today. He also called my mom "Nana" tonight. His smile melts our hearts, he really is a good baby. Of course Allan has been busy taking pictures of him, we think he is the most photographed child. It's amazing the changes that take place in him everyday. We joined Gymboree today, a play/gym class that teaches him new skills and gives him interaction with other kids his age. I promise to be a better blogger, especially if we get snow tomorrow!! You can always see lots of pictures on our Flickr account.
