Jimmy's 3rd Christmas!

Jimmy had a wonderful 3rd Christmas! He was kind enough to sleep in until eight and let me take a shower before we even came downstairs to see what Santa brought. (I am sure this is the last year that will happen) Santa built a wall of his new blocks that he had to knock down to see his toys, but of course he tried to cheat and go around to the other doorway LOL!  We had a great day playing with his toys, cooking and taking a nap. Christmas night, Allan's family came over and joined us for Christmas dinner. Jimmy and I were so tired we both went to bed at 8:30. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Jimmys choice of Christmas outfit! LOL
Of course Jimmy had to choose his outfit for Christmas dinner. Only in Florida would he choose his bathing suit with Elmo Christmas shirt. Giving him the benefit of the doubt it was 75 degrees here.

Evelyn and Bucky's daddies are over seas this Christmas and Jimmy asked me if he could invite them over to play today, so of course I said yes! They had so much fun playing with all of Jimmy's new birthday toys and eating lots of fruit.

Camping out

Jimmy received a Thomas the Train pop up tent for his birthday from Allan's Aunt and Uncle, last night he climbed in and was laying on the floor. I got out his new Cars sleeping bag that Aunt Boo and Uncle Poo gave him, and he had a little camping party in the living room!

2nd Birthday Party

Yesterday morning before his birthday party Jimmy took at bath with daddy, and this was the outfit Jimmy picked out to wear!

Jimmy and all of his friends had a great time at his birthday party. They all enjoyed Jimmy's birthday present, his trampoline. All of the kids took turn jumping and running around the backyard.

Jimmy's Cake

Thank you to everyone that came and for all of his goodies!

Passed out after bday party
Jimmy was quite tired after the party, but insisted that he went to bed in his boots, Stealers hat, with his cars, and new turtle Tuck.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jimmy

Yesterday was Jimmy's 2nd Birthday, wow has time flown by. I can not believe that my little baby boy is two and has such a personality of his own. It seems like yesterday that I was pregnant with him and ready to be a mommy. Jimmy is so sweet, loving and sensitive. He really is a good child, who I do not have to discipline very often. If you tell him "no" it breaks his heart and he wants to give you a hug. He is curious and wants to know how everything works. He is in love with all of his family members and now knows everyones names (well his own version of their names!). He has most of his basic colors down pat, and can count to 10 with out help. He knows about every other ABC, and sings along with all different songs. I am amazed everyday with the new things he says and does, he is so smart. He loves the thought of a sister in his mommy's tummy and kisses it all the time. I think he is going to be a wonderful protective big brother.  Allan and Jimmy are my everything, we love you so much Jimmy! Happy 2nd Birthday!

Christmas in Birmingham

Last Saturday we drove to Birmingham to have Christmas with my side of the family. For some crazy reason we did not take any pictures???? Sunday night we had Christmas with my dad and grandparents, and Monday night we had Christmas with my mom. We had a wonderful time, except for all coming down really sick with a head colds.  This will be my first Christmas not with my family, but we had a wonderful time while we were up there.

Intelligent conversation

Jimmy was done eating this morning and asked to get down by saying "go." I asked him where he wanted to go, and he replied with "Aunt Boo." I asked him how he was going to get to Aunt Boo and if he was going to fly to Aunt Boo's house. He looked at me like I was dumb and said "car."

Amazing that my almost two year old knew exactly how to get to Aunt Boo's house.

Oh Jimmy......

This morning  I was was laying in bed watching Jimmy  wake up, which is one of my favorite things to watch. He rolled around, sat up, and flopped back down face into pillow and reached back down his diaper and scratched his bottom! LOL Just like his daddy!

Jimmy has only wanted to eat Cheerios and milk for every meal lately. Instead of using a bib, I just tuck a paper towel down his shirt. This morning he rolled up the paper towel and put it down his shirt like he was stuffing! I could not stop laughing!!!!

Happy Birthday Allan

Today is Allan's 28th birthday, and he wants nothing. His exact quote was "I need nothing I have a wonderful life and am so blessed." This is the first year I have granted him his wish of no gifts or cake. BUT I wanted to make a blog post about how wonderful he is. I have never met a man who loves his child more than he does, watching the two of them play brings such happiness to my heart. Allan loves his family and friends and would do anything for them. He is a wonderful husband that works  hard  all hours of the night so that I can stay at home and take care of Jimmy. He is an inspiration to me in all that he does, he is my rock.  His Christian beliefs make him the man he is. I love you Allan, thank you for everything. Happy Birthday!

Crashing the Parade!

Last night we went to the Panama City Christmas parade. Allan took his tricycle and wagon and we dressed Jimmy in his Santa outfit. Well Surprise, Allan rode right into the middle of the parade and joined in! He only went a little over a block, but everyone was laughing and saying stuff about the tricycle and how cute Jimmy looked. I wish I had better pictures or a video, but I was running to go move people to get him a way out of the parade! Those two are trouble together!!!!!

Our Tree

This is the first time we have bought a real tree, and I am so proud of it. I love smelling it!!!

Jimmy Can't Trick Mommy!

Tonight I put Jimmy to bed and shut the door, I stood right outside of the door to listen for him. As soon as I heard him trying to get out of bed I opened the door. He was standing in the bed, he saw me and closed his eyes really tight and said "night night." Like I would believe he was standing up sleeping! :)

This year we drove back up to Lake Keowee in South Carolina to stay with Allan's Aunt and Uncle's house. On the way up we stopped and stayed at my best friend Lisa's new house in Atlanta. Jimmy loves playing with Joey and Jackie. Jimmy was really good for the eight hour drive up there and back. We had a fantastic time just relaxing and eating and eating and eating! We hope to go back for years to come!
