Little King Kong

Jimmy has decided that everything he can get his hands on has to go on the floor, with force!!!! He will walk all the way around our coffee table to make sure there is nothing on it, then off to his book shelf to do the same thing. He doesn't want to play with anything, just throw it on the floor. He goes room to room, while I follow him cleaning up. He get the destructive gene from his father!!!!! I am about to pull my hair out and he is not even walking yet, I am in real trouble.

We are headed to Panama City this afternoon, to celebrate a late Christmas and New Years.

Dump Truck

Uncle Mike gave Jimmy a huge Dump Truck, Jimmy thought it was great to ride around in.

Merry Christmas!

Last night before bed we read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to Jimmy. My mom use to read it to us, when were younger. This morning of course Jimmy did not know what was going on, but he loved his toys. Santa brought him a toy train, lawn mower, tool bench, dump truck, and bull dozer. He loved watching the train go around, then he attacked it like Godzilla. This afternoon we will be going over to my mom's house for dinner. We hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas.

Zoo Light Safari

Tonight we went to Zoo Light Safari with our neighbors. It was 42 degrees outside, so we bundled up and had a great time. We had to stand in line for a little bit to ride the train, but it was well worth it.

It's snowing in Alabama on our little snow angel!

My wonderful husband and family

Tonight we had Christmas at my Mom's house, since Rebecca has to work Christmas Eve and Christmas. Allan surprised my mom, Rebecca, Michael and myself with a certificate for a flight to Pittsburgh to visit my grandparents this spring. I can not remember the last time all three kids were up there at the same time. Of course Jimmy will go too, but he does not need a ticket. I can not think of a better gift that he could have given all of us. I am so excited. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALLAN.

Rebecca and Chris were sweet enough to buy Allan and I a gift card to the Rave, and gave us a certificate for free babysitting. In fine print it says:

"Terms and conditions: Must have coupon in hand for offer to be valid. Can not be combined with any other offer. Must have enough snacks for babysitters to enjoy all night (and we mean good stuff). Not responsible for any damages which may occur to any persons or property. Babysitters may reserve right to outsource babysitting duties to other agencies. Can not exchange for dollar value. "

HAHAHAHA that was one of the funniest things Becca and Chris have written. I can't wait to have a night out with Allan.

Off to the Park with Aunt Boo and Uncle Poo

We decided to head over to Joe Tucker Park today with my sister and brother-in-law, Aunt Boo and Uncle Poo. (Becca and Chris) Jimmy had a great time hanging out with them. Becca took Jimmy down the slides for the first time, he was not quite sure what to think about them.

Jimmy's First Birthday Refelection

I woke up this morning thinking about what a wonderful year it has been. I never thought you could love something as much as I love my child. (of course I love Allan, but a child is different) I can't believe what changes take place in one year. God gave us this gift of a child who is so helpless, and you commit your whole lives to take care of it. Throughout the first year of life they become more and more independent, holding their own bottle, sitting up, feeding themselves, and crawling. There are days I miss my 7lb 9oz little boy who would lay in my arms for hours, then I realize he sleeps almost 12 hours now! It is so much fun playing with him, watch his face light up with new tricks, and watching his personality blossom. He is FULL of personality. On his first birthday he is feeding himself table food, drinking whole milk, crawling on all fours, pulling up on everything, cruising around furniture, and destroying everything he can get his hands on. I am guessing he is around 27 lbs, wow 20lbs in one year. Before we know it he will be walking. Thank you to all our friends and family who have been in Jimmy's lives and will be in years to come. Happy 1st Birthday Jimmy!

Today we celebrate Jimmy's 1st Birthday. Jimmy was in the best mood and had such a wonderful time. Thank you everyone that was able to come and make his day so special. Jimmy's will be one on Thursday December 20th. It is so amazing how fast he has grown, we enjoy every moment with him. What a blessing he has been.

Christmas and Birthday Pictures

We went to Portrait Innovation's today to have Jimmy's Christmas and first birthday pictures done. We were there for over two hours and then waited 45 min to pick up the prints. Jimmy was so well behaved. My mom and brother came to help entertain Jimmy. Here are some of the pics, to see them all go to our flicker account http://flickr.com/photos/allanbranch/

Girl's night out

Crystal and Jennifer came over tonight to watch a movie since Allan is out of town. Needless to say we did not watch the movie, we drank a bottle of wine and gossiped all night. Good thing Jennifer did not have far to go to get home. (right across the street!) Thanks girls for coming over, I had a great time.

What a bunch of goobers in this pic!

I'm Hungry

Jimmy wanted to climb right into my mom's fridge tonight! I think he was hungry!

Santa!

Today we went over to Allison, Keat, and Laine's house to visit Santa. Jimmy really enjoyed Santa.

Two Minutes alone

I put the gate up and left Jimmy alone in his room for less than two minutes. I came back to everything out of his toy box, clothes hamper, and off of his bookshelf!!! Thanks Jimmy.

1st Haircut...really just a trim!

My mom, aka Nana, gave Jimmy his first haircut this week. Uncle Mike held him and Nana just trimmed around Jimmy's ears. He was NOT happy about it. We finally got down on the floor and gave him a cookie, it still did not help. Nana did a good job even with a wiggle worm.

Jimmy was wiped afterwards!

Baby it's cold outside!

Earlier this week it was really cold outside. We brought Murphy inside to play and sleep. Jimmy really enjoys Murphy and crawling all over him. Murphy is really good with Jimmy and doesn't mind getting his eyes poked out and hair pulled.

Don't let the dogs out!!!!

Jimmy loves to crawl into Allan's office in the morning and try to let the dogs out.

Allan the photographer!

Allan took some pics of Jennifer's children, Caleb and Zoe today. They were so cute hamming it up for the camera. Jimmy was laughing really hard when we took pics of the kids playing in the leaves, so Allan took some with him in them. Enjoy!

Jimmy was laughing so hard, he loved it!
